Here’s where you will meet our people …

Blog number one and yet for me it feels like I have been doing this for months. Being one of the main contributors to Facebook since we launched and having done the odd tweet I feel that I know some of you already – certainly those of you who are regular contributors. It’s really exciting for me to know that we now have an extended platform to engage with you all, a way to give you a bit more of what you are asking for, to introduce you to more of the team and get you behind the scenes a bit more. 

There are so many people here who contribute to the end product you see on the water and one of my main objectives is to introduce you to each and every person who works here. Combined with that I am keen to share the message of our sponsors and suppliers, the people who make our continued existence possible and believe in us as much as you do.

We have really exciting times ahead with the start of the Volvo Ocean Race, the Extreme 40 sailing series, further AC45 regattas and of course, the move to the new AC72 catamarans in 2013.
