Grinder Chris Ward has been associated with Team New Zealand and its forerunner the New Zealand Challenge starting in the build-up to the 1992 regatta in San Diego. Chris Ward is equally at home working the winches as he is maintaining them. In 2009 AND 2010, Chris was an integral part of Emirates Team New Zealand’s successful Louis Vuitton and MedCup campaigns. He is now deeply involved in the team’s multihull programme and working towards racing the AC72 next year.
